Title:                     Second Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary:

Cobblestone Creek Country Club is a private country club located 20 miles southeast of Rochester NY. The course was designed by Michael Hurdzan with construction completed in 1991.  Cobblestone Creek Country Club is looking for a qualified individual to fill the Second Assistant Superintendent position.  This individual will work closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in the daily maintenance of the golf course.  

Responsibilities:

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• ·        Monitor Course conditions
• ·        Chemical and Pesticide Applications
• ·        Operate and instruct all golf course equipment in a safe manner
• ·        Assist in water management
• ·        Irrigation Repair
• ·        Crew management
• ·        Participating in renovation projects
• ·        Assist in maintaining landscaping throughout the course and grounds
• ·        Assist with snow removal
• ·        Assist with equipment maintenance

Education Requirements:

                              Minimum 2-year Turf related Degree/Certificate

Experience Required:

                              1 to 2 years Golf course maintenance experience

Work Schedule:

                              Monday through Friday plus weekends/ holidays
